The chief minister’s statement was made during the distribution of welfare benefits organised by the Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB). This event, held under the Department of Skills, Labour, Employment & Entrepreneurship, became a platform for Singh to connect with the public, conveying a message of unity during challenging times.

The strategic shift of Manipur Rifles and IRB battalions to foothill areas indicates a proactive approach, aiming for a return to normalcy.
