In an address to the karyakartas  at a Shakha Toli Sangam organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale underscored the pivotal role of ‘shakha’ (branch/assembly) gatherings as the lifeblood of the organisation. The event, held in the sprawling grounds of KP Inter College in Sangam city, saw the enthusiastic participation of around 3,000 karyakartas from the Prayag Mahanagar branch.

Hosabale, in his impassioned discourse, elucidated the essence of the Sangh’s mission, emphasising the imperative for Swayamsewaks to actively engage in regular attendance at shakha assemblies. He articulated that a Swayamsevak should not merely attend as a visitor but rather as an active participant, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of the Sangh’s endeavours and functioning.

Central to his address was the notion that consistent participation in shakha activities fosters a profound sense of commitment and belonging among the karyakartas. Hosabale expounded on the multifaceted contributions of the Sangh to society, highlighting its unwavering commitment to serving communities and providing aid during times of need and crisis.

Moreover, he deliberated extensively on organisational matters, delving into strategies for expansion, recruitment of quality workers, and the pivotal role of shakhas in effecting social change aligned with the RSS mission. Stressing the importance of attendance at shakha-organised programs, Hosabale urged karyakartas to ensure maximum participation, thereby amplifying the impact of the Sangh’s initiatives.

Contrary to misconceptions, Hosabale clarified that the construction of the Ram Mandir was not the sole objective of the RSS. Rather, he elucidated that the overarching goal is to tirelessly labour towards elevating India’s stature on the global stage, encompassing a myriad of endeavours aimed at national development and prosperity.

Amidst collective yoga exercises and spirited group performances of traditional songs, the event served as a platform for karyakartas to reaffirm their dedication to the RSS’s principles and objectives. Hosabale’s call to action resonated strongly with attendees, who expressed a renewed sense of purpose in contributing towards building a better society.

The Shakha Toli Sangam epitomised the RSS’s unwavering commitment to fostering a vibrant network of dedicated karyakartas united by a common vision of nation-building. Through his impassioned address and engaging discussions, Hosabale reinvigorated the spirit of service and camaraderie among Swayamsewaks, laying the groundwork for a future marked by collective action and societal upliftment.
