Two groups clashed during the immersion of the murti after Saraswati Puja in Darbhanga. Several people were seriously injured in the incident. There was a dispute between the two groups at the time when the procession was being taken out for the immersion of the murti regarding the route, which led to stone pelting. However, the police force that reached the spot pacified the matter. During this, many police officers were also injured.

There was a ruckus between two groups in Darbhanga, Bihar.  Several people were seriously injured in the incident. At the same time, a large number of police force has been deployed given the seriousness of the matter. Darbhanga District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan and SSP Jagannath Reddy reached out to pacify the matter.

The incident is said to be from Tarasrai Mudia Mali Tola of Darbhanga where there was a clash between two sides regarding the route during the idol immersion. There was stone pelting from both sides. The administration team that reached the spot explained to the angry people, after which the idol immersion was carried out amid tight security. However, many police officers were also injured in the stone pelting.

The police were informed when the situation worsened. The administration and police team reached the spot before the situation could deteriorate and pacified the matter. However, several people were injured in the stone pelting. As soon as the information about the incident was received, District Magistrate Rajiv Roshan, SSP Jagannath Reddy along with heavy police force including police of many police stations and QRT district police force reached the spot and pacified the matter.

The District Magistrate said that the idol immersion was carried out after talks with both the sides. The whole matter is being investigated. Police officials say that whoever is found guilty behind this will be strictly dealt with. He said that the miscreants are being identified. No matter who the person is, action will be taken against them.

Here, SSP Jagannath Reddy said that action will be taken against those who have carried out such a heinous incident. At present, there is an atmosphere of peace in the village. CCTV and video footage is being investigated, with the help of which the criminals will be identified. Strict legal action will be taken against those who create ruckus during the immersion so that such an incident does not happen in future. According to the police administration, the situation is said to be peaceful.
