Ram Mandir, Reviving Cultural Pride: RSS’ role in shaping growth trajectory of Bharat

Emphasising cultural and emotional connections over material gains, the RSS has persevered to instill a "Nation first" mentality based on Sanatan principles since its inception in 1925. Recent events, notably the global Pran-Pratishta of Prabhu Shri Ram on January 22, 2024, underscore this transformation

The growth trajectory of every nation diminishes when each individual’s mentality deteriorates. This is what we have endured for ages as a result of the slavery mentality developed by invaders, and we have felt ashamed of our own culture, identity, and civilization. The nation’s growth cannot be judged solely in terms of material gains like roads, highways, towering buildings, and ports; rather, it is the cultural and emotional connections that make it powerful in all aspects.

The devaluation of the rich legacy, the degradation of socioeconomic conditions, and the servitude of invaders were all major concerns for any nationalist at the period. Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar identified every Bharatiya’s poor attitude and resolved to work to transform the thinking of each individual who will have the concept of “Nation first” and be culturally and emotionally associated with the idea of Bharat based on Sanatan principles.

Dr Hedgewar founded the “Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh” in 1925, and despite numerous challenges, he persevered in his efforts to unite people under the banner of Hindutva. When we see how Bharat is progressing today and how Pran-Pratishtha of Prabhu Shri Ram fulfilled the aspirations of billions across the globe on January 22, 2024, we wonder what elements made this possible. If we examine the work of Dr. Hedgewar, Shri Madhav Golwalkar Guruji, and other Sarsanghchalaks, as well as millions of swayamsevaks and many institutions and organisations, we can see the hard work and efforts to restore glory, which is now a thing on everyone’s mind and will soon become a reality.

If we look at what happened following the Supreme Court’s Ayodhya ruling, it is apparent that the “Swa” of Bharatiya has awoken. Hindus (including Jain, Bauddha, and Sikhs) are uniting, as evidenced by donations from crores of families in 5 lakh 74000 villages across the nation. Even now, over two months later, the way the entire Hindu community has come together for “Akshata” distribution, rallies, and numerous programmes on January 22, 2024, demonstrates that Hindus have been reawakened, emotionally attached, and culturally united. This energy, unity, and celebration are still topics of conversation around the globe. The two Sangh swayamsevaks, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, performing rituals remind us of the sacrifices done by millions of karsevaks.

At one point, it seemed impossible to unite Hindus, eliminate the slavery mentality, and elevate national consciousness based on “Swa”. However, the RSS, or Vishva Hindu Parishad, determined to make this happen when the circumstances were averse; they amassed all Sant Samaj and many institutions and organisations together over 40 years ago and launched the Ramjanmbhumi movement. A spark was required, and Bhagwan Shri Ram was that spark, igniting the energies of the Hindu community. The struggle, movements, diversified activities, and the systematic structure and methodology of collecting donations and distributing “Akshata” require in-depth investigation by various universities, organisations, and intellectuals. How can it be done on such a large scale without any monetary benefit? The functioning of RSS and VHP should be taught in schools around the globe.

In a short period of time, crores of families and lakhs of villages were effectively, systematically, and technologically covered throughout the country. Make them fully committed to this movement, leaving aside any differences or caste barriers, and become emotionally and culturally united with enhanced consciousness. The multitude of celebrations held across the country and around the world, as well as in each and every corner of the village, demonstrate the magnitude of this major historical event. The favourable impact on socioeconomic aspects is also a component that should be investigated.

Even those who oppose Sanatan Dharma and the concept of Bharat are rattled by Hindu unity. They recognised that Hindu unity would boost the spirit of this vast nation and help it develop socioeconomically and spiritually, transforming it into “Vishwaguru.”. Haters of Hindutva should recognise the truth, participate in faster growth, and work for mankind rather than selfishness. Their plots and toolkit will have little impact on the vast mass of Hindus. The religious conversion, Mafias should quit poisoning Hindu brains in order to convert them; Hindus would fight strongly and legally. The “Gharwapasi” will occur with great rapidity.

The growth engine will begin to make inroads towards the mutually beneficial, sustainable development that every country strives for. In his speech, Dr Mohan Bhagwat stated that the coming of Bhagwan Shri Ram after 500 years of struggle awakens “Swa” in every Bharatiya. This “Swa” will provide the necessary thinking ingredient for individuals, social groups, and nations to develop an ethical attitude and ideals. Selfishness and a negative attitude towards society, the nation, and the environment will vanish. The “Swa” will elevate the inner consciousness, purifying the outside environment. The “Swa” will increase self-reliance in Bharat, allowing each individual to progress coherently while also benefiting the world in all ways. The “Swa” will spiritually uplift each individual, bringing inner joy and happiness into their lives. The “Swa” will assist developed nations in working with Bharat based on Sanatan ideas.

The “Swa” will merge all castes and place a greater emphasis on the cause of Hindutva. The “Swa” will restore cultural legacy to strengthen and elevate society. The “Swa” will make people aware of their societal and national responsibilities. The “Swa” will focus on personal and national character development. The “Swa” will force people to go deeply into the histories and seek to correct the mistakes that have caused harm to Hindutva and the nation. The “Swa” will promote morale in the battle against injustice and enable the poor or needy receive justice on time. The “Swa” will motivate us to follow in the footsteps of Prabhu Shri Ram, Bhagwan Krishna, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Swami Vivekanand, Acharya Chanankya, and Vedic principles.

The “Swa” will improve the political, judicial, media, and democratic systems’ efficiency, effectiveness, and ethics. The “Swa” will eventually create “Ram Rajya,” but Hindu unity is needed to bring about this monumental change. The RSS and related organizations and institutions are fighting solely for this cause; without a doubt, everyone should step forward and assist in this greater cause.
Jai Shri Ram!!
