In a shocking incident in Bharuch, Gujarat, a case of love jihad has come to light, involving a married Muslim youth named Adil Patel from Chavaj village. Adil Patel adopted a false identity, Arya Patel, on social media platforms, successfully luring a Hindu woman into a deceptive love affair that lasted for four years. When the woman discovered the truth, she confronted the accused at his residence, leading to a physical altercation.
The modus operandi involved Adil Patel creating an Instagram account under the name Arya Patel, concealing his Muslim identity. Despite being married, he engaged in a romantic relationship with the Hindu woman, falsely claiming to be unmarried throughout the four-year affair.
Upon learning about Adil Patel’s actual identity, the aggrieved Hindu woman confronted him at his home and physically assaulted him. The case has now been handed over to a team of women police officers, and the Bharuch Superintendent of Police (SP) has been apprised of the incident. Authorities are in the process of registering a formal complaint against Adil Patel, collecting evidence of his deceptive actions.
The revelation of this incident has caused a stir in the village, with a video capturing the woman slapping Adil Patel at his residence circulating widely in the locality. Local Hindu organisations have taken note of the case and are actively supporting the victimised woman. They have brought the matter to the attention of the Bharuch SP, urging appropriate action.
Adil Patel not only assumed a false Hindu identity to deceive the woman but also had intentions of marrying her. During discussions about marriage at the woman’s house, he claimed that his parents had passed away, fabricating a false narrative to garner sympathy from the woman’s family.
Upon realising that the Hindu woman had uncovered his true identity, Adil Patel recorded an apologetic video and sent it to her. In response, the woman visited his residence and physically confronted him. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the case to ascertain all relevant details.
