Karnataka: Hindu youth beaten by Islamists; false rape case filed against him

Srinivasa, a resident of Jolly Nagar in Davangere, Karnataka, was brutally attacked last week by a group of young Muslims who claimed he had offered a Muslim girl a lift on his bike. Since they lived in the same neighbourhood, the two of them knew one another. Later, a false-rape case was filed against the Hindu boy

As per the police complaint, during the evening hours of December 8, while Srinivas (30 years old) was riding his bike on Shivali Talkies Road, a Muslim girl asked him to drop her off at the nearby RTO office. Srinivas offered a lift because they knew each other. A group of people who appeared to be in their 25s or 26s stopped them both as they were on the bike.

Immediately, Srinivas was verbally and physically abused by the Islamists, who were identified as Babu, Qadir Mat, and Pailwan. The Muslim girl was forcibly removed from the scene by the attackers.

When the attackers brought along three more friends, the situation became even more violent. The attackers took him to the Taj Palace Shadimahal, where they brutally strangled him in a room with the clear intention of killing him. He was shocked to learn that his bike, cell phone, and neck chain had all been taken when he shockingly regained consciousness in the early hours of the morning close to Shamanur Bridge.

NOT A SINGLE MAIN STREAM MEDIA REPORTED THIS TO YOU!

Srinivas managed to seek help from a passerby, who provided a mobile phone for him to contact his family. Subsequently, he was taken to CG Hospital for medical treatment. Srinivas belong to the Scheduled tribe community.

On receipt of a complaint that came to the police station on December 9, case was filed against the accused under section 143,147, 323, 307, 392, Rev. 149 IPC and Section-3(1)(r), 3(1) (s), 3 (2)(v-a) 3(2)(v) filed a case under SC/ST Act.

However, it has come to light that Devengere Police registered a rape case against Srinivas, and now he is in the custody of the police.

Speaking to the media on December 11, Satish Pujari of Hindu Jagaran Manch, said ”The girl who got the drop filed a rape case, and the girl’s family has been missing since. In this case, the police are not acting impartially. He complained that despite the fact that hundreds of people were attacked, only three benami were identified.”

Satish demanded that the case be investigated impartially and the culprits be punished according to law. Since the Congress came into power, attacks against Hindus are increasing, and they will take this agitation further if the police do not arrest the culprits in the next 48 hours.

Sri Ram Sena district president Manikante Sarkar stated that if Srinivas did anything wrong, why would he approach and seek help from police? The increasing number of anti-Hindu attacks is completely unacceptable. The notorious Shadi Mahal, located next to the Taj Palace, has become a hub for such illegal activities and must be closed down immediately.
