According to the information received, preparations are on to make arrangements for a gathering of around 50000 people where other ministers of the Sai’s cabinet are also expected to take oath.

Meanwhile, interacting with the media, the state president of the BJP, Arun Sao said that the people of Chhattisgarh have given a historic mandate to the BJP, the swearing in ceremony is scheduled to be held tomorrow, and as the victory of ours has been historic, so will be the oath taking ceremony.

छत्तीसगढ़ की जनता ने भारतीय जनता पार्टी को ऐतिहासिक जनमत दिया है।

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, party’s president J.P Nadda, union home minster Amit Shah and other CMs are set to attend the ceremony and bless us, I would like to extend the invitation to the people of Chhattisgarh in this historic moment, added Sao who is expected to take oath as deputy CM along with Kawardha MLA Vijay Sharma.

Earlier Vishnu Deo Sai, who won the Kumkuri seat of the tribal (Janjati/Vanvasi) dominated northern region of the state was elected as the leader of the BJP legislative group in Chhattisgarh assembly on Sunday. The development occurred after all the newly elected 54 BJPs MLA chose Sai as the leader leaving behind others name being speculated by the media.

Hailing from the tribal dominated Jashpur region of Chhattisgarh, Sai is set to become the first Vanvasi Chief Minister of the state, where the Vanvasi community constitute a significant majority. It is to be noted that the saffron partys move to chose Sai as the CM of the state is expected to further solidify the trust of the Vanvasi community in the Narendra Modi led party which earlier threw its weight behind Draupdi Murmu, another BJP leader of the Vanvasi community for the presidential post.
