Sundara Jothi, affectionately known as “Jothi ji” among Sangh sevaks, served as the editor of the RSS official mouthpiece ‘Vijayabharatham’ for over a decade. He held several administrative responsibilities and played a significant role in the Tamil Nadu RSS unit.

Born in Puliyanthopu, Chennai, in March 1955, Sundara Jothi followed in his father’s footsteps to become a pracharak from a young age. He joined as a bala sevak and later became a full-time pracharak, holding various positions within the RSS.

Despite facing health challenges, Jothi’s dedication to the Sangh and its activities remained unwavering. He worked diligently, managing the ‘Vijayabharatham’ office as Manager and later serving as Saha Karyawak.

Jothi’s untimely demise has left a void in the Sangh, and his contributions to grooming young journalists and conducting workshops for them are remembered fondly. He will be remembered as an articulate and well-versed leader who made significant contributions to the Sangh Parivar. His funeral rites took place at the Otteri burial ground in Chennai.

The Sangh Parivar and its karyakarthas express deep sorrow over the loss of Sundara Jothi, acknowledging his irreplaceable contributions and commitment to the Sangh’s ideals.
