Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, arrived in Punjab on December 5 night and is currently staying at the Vidya Dham located in the Surya Enclave. The visit is part of his participation in a three-day All India Meetings held in Jalandhar. These meetings are set to continue until December 8 and will include discussions on various social issues.
The conference is not only attended by RSS functionaries but also by officers from all regions of the northern part of the country, including Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir. The agenda of the meetings is expected to cover a wide range of topics, and besides the social issues, there will also be a separate session in which discussions will be held on organisational matters.
The meetings are being conducted under tight security arrangements, with the venue, Vidya Dham, being closely monitored to ensure the safety of all participants. Stringent security measures have been implemented, and no unauthorised individuals, including local leaders, have been granted access to the premises.
Dr Mohan Bhagwat’s arrival was marked by a grand welcome as he reached the city via the Shatabdi Express on Tuesday night. City Railway Station witnessed a notable gathering, including the regional spokesperson Narendra, Metropolitan Coordinator of Bajrang Dal, Pramod Agrawal, Sovit Pasi, Mahesh Gupta, Manish Sharma, and others, who extended a warm reception to Bhagwat.
The three-day program also includes a Deviate session, organised to address and deliberate upon social issues alongside the regular meetings. This will provide an opportunity for the RSS volunteers to engage in discussions with the leadership on matters of social importance.
Emphasising the gravity of the event, security has been prioritised, and stringent measures have been implemented to safeguard the participants. No external individuals have been permitted to enter, highlighting the exclusive nature of these deliberations.
The presence of Mohan Bhagwat in Jalandhar for these important meetings underscores the significance of the discussions and decisions that will shape the future course of the RSS’s activities and engagements in the northern regions of India. The detailed deliberations on social issues are expected to contribute to the organisation’s ongoing efforts towards community welfare and nation-building.
