The 69th National Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in Delhi, is scheduled for December 7 to 10, will feature a grand exhibition dedicated to the founding member of ABVP and senior pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), late Shri Dattaji Didolkar. The exhibition hall has been named ‘Dattaji Didolkar Exhibition Hall’ in honour of his birth centenary.

The exhibition will showcase eight themes, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Hindavi Swarajya, the real history of Delhi, the glorious saga of the freedom movement, Bharat as Vishwaguru, 75 years of ABVP’s history, ABVP’s activities and dimensions, national integration, and the environment.

More than 200 students from various art colleges across the country have been preparing for this exhibition for over a month, creating over 160 paintings on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the real history of Delhi, national integration, and the independence movement. The exhibition hall, located near Burari Crossing in Delhi’s vast DDA Ground (a tent city named Indraprastha Nagar accommodating around ten thousand students has been set up) where paintings will be displayed, accompanied by sculptures crafted from clay and sand. Dattaji Didolkar Exhibition Hall will showcase aspects ranging from the Mahabharat era to contemporary times, covering Delhi’s history, different facets of Bharat’s independence movement, lesser-known freedom fighters, various writings, books, the 75-year journey of ABVP, and student movements.

ABVP National General Secretary Shri Yagywalkya Shukla stated, “It is important to study history from the Bharatiya perspective for understanding Bharat. We’re commemorating Dattaji Didolkar’s birth centenary by dedicating the exhibition hall in his name. His contributions to the establishment of the Vivekananda Shila Smarak in Kanyakumari, educational institutions, and various other efforts serve as inspiration for the current generation. His entire life has been dedicated to numerous positive changes in the country. The exhibition will inspire thousands of students participating nationwide in the ABVP National Conference.”
