Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat arrived at Nagla Chandrabhan in Farah block, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the birthplace of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, on November 27. The visit was marked by a solemn tribute to the late Deendayal Upadhyay, wherein Dr Bhagwat adorned his statue with a garland and lit an earthen lamp in a gesture of reverence.

Mukesh Sharma, the Prachar Pramukh of the Deendayal Dham, reported that Bhagwat paid obeisance to the visionary leader whose principles and ideologies have profoundly influenced the RSS. The birthplace, also known as Deendayal Dham, holds significance as a place that shaped the early life of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

Following the homage, Bhagwat is scheduled to spend the night at the rest-house within the Dham premises. The significance of this visit lies in its alignment with the ethos of the RSS and its commitment to upholding the principles advocated by Deendayal Upadhyay.

The agenda for November 28, is the inauguration of a project that marks the completion of the first phase of the Deendayal Gau Vigyan, Research and Training Centre at Parkham village. This project reflects the organisation’s dedication to the advancement of research and training in the field of Gau Vigyan (cow science), an area of focus that resonates with the ethos of the RSS.

In addition to inaugurating the Gau Vigyan Centre, Dr Bhagwat will lay the foundation stone for the AYUSH Veterinary Institute. This step underscores the organisation’s commitment to promoting alternative and traditional healthcare practices in the veterinary field.

As part of the day’s events, the RSS Sarsanghchalak will also release the poster of the film ‘Godaan.’ This cinematic endeavour is likely to focus on themes that align with the values and vision championed by Deendayal Upadhyay.

The visit and the planned activities emphasise the RSS’s dedication to perpetuating the legacy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. It signifies a broader commitment to social and cultural initiatives, particularly those that align with the principles of the organisation. The projects being inaugurated reflect the RSS’s multifaceted approach, encompassing cultural, scientific, and healthcare endeavours aimed at contributing to the betterment of society.
