Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) organised the Path Sanchalan, which is an annual event that is held across the country. The primary aim of RSS’ Path Sanchalan is to promote the teachings of nationalism and unity.

Hardev Verma, a senior representative of the RSS, shared insights into the event, highlighting its importance. He emphasised that Path Sanchalan serves as a platform for Swayamsevaks from various districts and units to come together and participate. The RSS is dedicated to spreading the principles of nationalism, and it operates through several affiliated organisations, all with the common goal of strengthening the nation.

The event in Rajouri witnessed a significant turnout of Swayamsevaks, with the local community warmly welcoming them as they paraded through the town. A shower of flower petals added to the festive atmosphere as they marched through the streets with pride and enthusiasm.

Verma further explained the overarching mission of the RSS, which is to unite the entire Indian nation as one cohesive society. The RSS’s dedication to this cause is unwavering, with daily efforts focused on achieving this goal. Recognizing the importance of understanding history, Verma stated that every society, nation, and community should learn from its historical mistakes. He added that those who fail to learn from their past errors risk the decline of their existence.

The RSS, established by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, was founded with the vision of preventing the repetition of historical errors, thereby ensuring a brighter future for the nation. Path Sanchalan saw participants marching through various parts of Rajouri, starting from the Old Bus Stand, through the Main Bazaar, the Mandi area, Panja, and concluding in Jawahar Nagar.

In addition to the enthusiastic participation of Swayamsevaks, the event witnessed the presence of several prominent figures. Notable attendees included Naval Gupta, the district head of the RSS, Hardev Verma, the head of Rajouri-Poonch, Vibodh Gupta, the state secretary of the BJP, and other respected community leaders like Karan Thakur, Raja Ratna, and Sahil Gupta.

The government authorities took extra precautions to ensure the safety and security of the event. A robust security arrangement was put in place with the deployment of police and paramilitary personnel. These measures were taken to ensure that the event proceeded smoothly and without any disruptions.

Path Sanchalan is a testament to the RSS’s unwavering commitment to the nation’s well-being and unity. As Swayamsevaks from different regions come together to celebrate their shared vision of a stronger and more cohesive India, it underscores the significance of understanding history and learning from it. The RSS continues to be a driving force behind the promotion of nationalism and the preservation of the nation’s cultural heritage.

The annual event brings communities together and serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of working collectively for the greater good. As the nation continues to evolve, the RSS remains dedicated to fostering a sense of unity and pride in the hearts of its supporters.
