The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), is gearing up for its annually conducted Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Baithak (Central Executive Council Meeting) scheduled to take place in Bhuj, Gujarat from November 5 – 7, 2023.

Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar addressed the press highlighting the key issues that would be discussed.

In a significant press briefing held today at Bhuj, Gujarat, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Prachar Pramukh Sunil Ambekar addressed a gathering of journalists, highlighting the key elements of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakari Mandal Baithak which is scheduled to be held later this week. The three-day All India Executive Meeting is being held at the Sardar Patel School in Bhuj from November 5 to 7. This meeting will witness the participation of top RSS leaders, including Dr Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS Sarsanghchalak, and Dattatreya Hosabale, the General Secretary, along with several other central office-bearers.

The agenda of the three day baithak shall include a comprehensive discussion on the points raised in the Vijayadashami speech made by RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat at Nagpur. Focus would also be on the suggestions given at the Akhil Bharatiya Samanvay Baithak held in Pune in September. The conference aims to chart out a roadmap for the effective implementation of these ideas at the grassroots level.

A prominent issue to be deliberated upon would be introducing the desired changes in the syllabus for its training camps. The RSS, which is known for its diverse roles in various social and national initiatives, is currently in the process of revising its training curriculum. This move is aimed at aligning the training programs with the changing dynamics of the society and nation. The decision to enhance and adapt the training program reflects the RSS’s continuous efforts to stay relevant in today’s evolving landscape. The changes introduced shall be implemented in all its training camps from 2024.

A significant and timely discussion will centre around the proposed temple inauguration ceremony in Ayodhya, scheduled for January 22, 2024. The meeting will delve into the role that will be played by the RSS on this historic moment. Ambekar stated that all RSS volunteers would actively participate in the events organised by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust and affirmed the organisation’s commitment to being an integral part of all important national and social activities.

Sangh Shatabdi Varsh

RSS was established in 1925 by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar at Nagpur, Maharashtra. In the meeting, the centenary year of the RSS (2025) will also be reviewed, and a roadmap will be formulated to achieve predetermined goals through future programs. The RSS’s stated goal is to reach every section of society through regular branch activities at the Gram Sabha (village council) level by its centenary year.

Ambekar informed that the Baithak will see the involvement of all leading RSS functionaries including the five sah sarkaryavahs namely, Manmohan Vaidya, Krishna Gopal, Mukund, Arun Kumar and Ram Dutt. The leaders of all the major domains of RSS such as shakha, sharirik, bauddhik, prachar, pracharak, vyavastha, sampark, seva, etc. shall attend the Baithak. Furthermore, organising secretaries from select affiliated organisations such as ABVP, VHP, BJP and Majdur Sangh will also participate in the proceedings.

Other eminent RSS functionaries who presided over the press brief included Mahesh Ojha (Prant Karyawah, Saurashtra), Alok Kumar (Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Prachar Pramukh), Narendra Kumar (Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Prachar Pramukh), and Pankaj Rawal (Prachar Pramukh, Saurashtra).
