Over these 45 days, it is anticipated that around 50 lakh people will make their way to Ayodhya in phases to participate in this momentous event. According to the detailed itinerary, the Kashi region unit will have its turn on January 30. The event on January 22 will see the participation of 140 seers from various sects, extending from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. In addition to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, the families of those who made significant sacrifices during the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, and other distinguished dignitaries will also be in attendance. However, due to limited seating capacity, it has been necessary to stagger the invitations for different regional units to ensure the comfortable accommodation and provision of food and lodging for 25,000 visitors each day.

In a press briefing, Champat Rai provided insights into the preparations for the consecration. He disclosed that 200 workers are slated to arrive in Ayodhya on November 4. They will leave the city on November 5, bearing urns filled with Akshat (rice) intended for their respective regions. This rice will be distributed as an invitation to attend the event in Ayodhya. The same Akshat will make its way to temples across the country, reaching various localities in cities and villages by December’s end. This massive endeavour aims to mobilise people to participate in the grand event by January 15.

On the day of the consecration, people in every locality and village will gather at local temples to partake in religious recitals. They will also be urged to illuminate their homes with earthen lamps in the evening. Rai expressed the ambitious goal of lighting lamps in five crore homes across the nation.

In their addresses, RSS Pranth Sanghchalak Vishwanath Lal Nigam and other regional leaders assigned tasks such as preparing lists of temples, forming teams for door-to-door contact, organising religious recitals, and other vital responsibilities to the cadres. These efforts are all part of the comprehensive preparations for the 45-day event in Ayodhya, which promises to be a momentous and unifying celebration of Ram Lalla’s consecration.

As this monumental occasion draws near, the nation eagerly awaits the consecration of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya. With the involvement of various sects, leaders, and dedicated workers, this event is poised to be a significant milestone in the history of India and a symbol of unity and devotion to Bhagwan Ram.
