New Delhi: India vs Bangladesh World Cup 2023, the 17th match of the ICC One Day World Cup 2023, will be held at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium in Pune. Team India has had a victorious run so far in the World Cup 2023, securing win in their initial three matches, while Bangladesh managed to win just one of their three matches.

In the history of World Cup encounters between the two teams, India has emerged victorious in all three of their previous matches, maintaining an unbeaten record. Notably, Bangladesh had defeated India in the 2007 World Cup, marking a significant milestone.

Weather conditions during the India-Bangladesh match are a matter of concern among fans, given the recent light drizzle during practice sessions in Pune. While rain during the match is not highly anticipated, the influence of dew may play a role. Consequently, the toss will be of utmost importance.

Prior to this, India secured win against Australia, Afghanistan, and Pakistan in the World Cup 2023, while Bangladesh started with a win against Afghanistan but faced defeat against England and New Zealand. Bangladesh’s recent ODI record against India has been favourable, with three victories out of their last four encounters, including a win against team India in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup last month.

This will be the first World Cup ODI for Bangladesh in India in 25 years, with their last appearance against India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai in 1998.
