In our yogic tradition the practice of giving back more than what we receive is well established. One is known as yogi when one becomes capable of giving back more than what one receives. This principle applies even in the activities such as our breathing activity which address our most basic need as a living being. In many ways this yogic persona of Bharat was visible in our G-20 presidential tenure.
The way various events were being decentralised and organised in various cities spread across the length and breadth of our country, first hand observers and participants were clear and confident that Bharat will make an impact in its presidential tenure of G-20.
But, when one looked at the opinion pages across the media specially, our own country-based media vehicles, hardly few were appearing confident that Bharat will deliver such unprecedented results at the culmination of its G-20 presidential tenure as it has really delivered.
Sizable number of op-ed writers in Indian media must rethink why they are not getting the spirit of the common people of our own country and global mood right?

While handing over the symbol of its presidency to Brazilian President Lula, G-20 had already transformed. As it had become G-20 plus one, to say the minimum.
The resolution on issues which are genuinely of global nature such as food security, climate finance and peaceful resolution of conflicts were accepted and declared accepted amicably by all the dignitaries present. However, a couple of powerful nations chose to praise us after the event.
We are a country that respects all kinds of voices as we have immense trust in the culture of unity in diversity which we, the people of Bharat, represent, perhaps; in the best possible manner in the comity of nations, civilisations and cultures since the known history of humanity.
But it definitely requires tact, genuineness of purpose, personal humility and supremely confident collective leadership. And a practicing yogi Prime Minister exemplifies that character.

Opinion makers across the media would still apply a variety of lenses to look at our unprecedented success in this tenure. But spiritual lens is the most open one as it can accommodate all the apparently opposite sounding viewpoints without their really reaching to that stage where they really oppose one another by ignoring those innate threads of unity which are always stronger and deeper than their apparent opposition or posturing point as, Sanatan Parampara (Indic Wisdom) has immense trust in the innate goodness of humanity.
Saints and seers have been fathoming this goodness since eons by experiencing it practically through their own lives as individual seekers, as well as by listening to the experiences and life stories of the other saints and seers in informal meetings and gatherings (sat-sangs) and, conversations (Upanishads).
The roots of the trust may be traced down in our living tradition of selfless-observation in which as spiritual seekers we have been seeking our relationship with the very existence itself from generation to generation and keep moulding our lifestyle in accordance with needs of the present times. Our Guru-shishya relationship sustains this immortal spirit of keep seeking the truth within incessantly even, when most of humanity loses touch with its own inner core of all-round goodness.
When we tell story of any divine incarnation say Maryadaa Purshottam Bhagwaan Raam or ‘Leela Purushottam Bhagwaan Krishn’ or ‘Devi Bhagwatam’, we also tell the story of divine origin of Raavan, Kamsha, Raktbeej that how these so-called villains in those stories are originally one with the divinity in their previous births. This way humanity doesn’t lose sense of inherent oneness beneath. As these are not fictitious stories, these are the stories which keep us grounded in the spiritual reality. When we dive deeper within then alone we see beauty of innate goodness, eternal oneness and divine inseparability. Reality opens its doors for us forever. Yogi Bharat has raised the bar in G-20 summit that sab ka sahyog alone can ensure global peace, progress and prosperity.
