Yet another case of Love Jihad has been reported from the Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh on August 29. A Hindu woman has alleged that a Muslim man posed as a Hindu to lure her into a fake relationship. Upon learning about his true identity, she distanced herself, and then he showed his true colours. He started harassing her, blackmailing her, forcing her to convert and even attacked her and her family members. The woman shared her plight with the Superintendent of Police at the Public meeting; as of now, an investigation is underway and the police are looking for the accused.

As per the media reports, the victim lives in the Shinde ki Chhawni area of the Gwalior district. A few months ago, the woman came in contact with a boy who introduced himself as Rahul. They became friends and shared a romantic relationship. However, the victim found out that Rahul’s actual name was Arman Khan. Upon learning his true identity, the victim cut off all their ties.

Irked with this decision, the accused started following the victim, he threatened her with dire consequences and even forced her to convert to Islam. He also attacked the woman, after which she gave a police complaint. Ever since the woman registered a complaint against the accused, he his threats have only intensified.

The victim alleged that Arman with his uncle and family, had launched attacks on her father and brother. The Superintendent of Police, Rajesh Singh Chandel, said that following the victim’s statement, the matter will be investigated and desired action will be taken against the accused, Arman.

A video statement of the victim and her brother is getting viral where the brother can be seen telling media that, the accused belongs to a politically sound family and he threatened him saying, “do whatsoever you want to, no FIR or police can touch me”.
