Anurag Thakur highlighted the rapidity of progress, as within a mere twelve months of this policy shift, the private sector successfully launched its own rocket, effectively showcasing its latent potential. ISRO’s Chandrayaan-3, a highly ambitious lunar mission, is set to create history with its Lander Module (LM) touching down on the lunar terrain. The achievement would not only establish India as the fourth country to accomplish this feat but also as the first to navigate the uncharted territory of the moon’s southern pole. This mission, a culmination of extensive planning and a financial commitment of Rs 600 crore, was set into motion on July 14, propelled by the Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM-3) rocket.
