Terrorist Ashif has reportedly told NIA, during interrogation, that Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders and National Investigation Agency (NIA) officers were in their hit list. Ashif is the second accused in the Pavaratti Baiju murder case. Baiju was a Hindu Aikyavedi worker in Pavaratti, Thrissur district. PFI terrorists killed Baiju in 2008 and they carried out march in Pavaratti after the murder.

It is revealed that Ashif was in constant touch with the IS leaders in Syria. Ashif was a terror trainer of PFI and the conspiracy to kill RSS leaders and NIA workers was hatched near Kochi. The vital information was revealed during the interrogation. PFI activities are quite similar to those of IS and its modalities of preparing hit lists.

NIA interrogation reveals that terrorists have taken hayath (oath) for carrying out terror activities. The oath was taken to execute terror actions at the fixed spots at the fixed time. IED bomb experiments were carried out in this regard.

Thrissur native terrorist Ashif was arrested by NIA from the Sathyamangalam forests, Tamil Nadu, recently. NIA had found that he had hatched plots to carry out terror actions in several places including Keralam. He was the master trainer for the fresh and young recruits of PFI. He got the arms training from Syria. He had carried out several arms training and special camps in the forests of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Now, NIA look for Sirajudheen, a co-terrorist of those who were arrested from Tamil Nadu. But, there are reports that he had fled for Syria.

Ashif had reportedly told NIA, during the interrogation, that he got attracted to IS during his employment in Gulf. And, he started to work with the like-minded people there.
