Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to four States, which kicked off today. He flew down to Gorakhpur Airport from Chhattisgarh’s Raipur, where he was received by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a Vijay Sankalp Rally in Raipur. Speaking in the poll-bound state, he sharpened his attack against the Congress party and said that those who are stained in corruption are trying to stitch an Opposition Unity.

“Those stained are trying to come together today. Those who used to curse each other, they have now started finding excuses to come together,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi added there is corruption at the core of the Congress party. “Without corruption, Congress cannot even breathe. Corruption is the biggest ideology of Congress.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the centenary celebrations of Gita Press, said, “Gita Press is the only printing press in the world, which is not just an organization but a living faith. Gita Press is not just a printing press but a temple to crores of people…The press’ name also has Gita and the work also has Gita.”

Following the Gita Press event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off two Vande Bharat trains connecting Gorakhpur – Lucknow and Jodhpur – Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) and lay the foundation stone of the Gorakhpur Railway Station redevelopment.

Gorakhpur – Lucknow Vande Bharat Express will pass through Ayodhya and will improve connectivity to important cities in the state and also give a fillip to tourism. Jodhpur – Sabarmati Vande Bharat Express will improve connectivity to famous places such as Jodhpur, Abu Road, Ahmedabad and will boost socio-economic development in the region.

“Modern infrastructure is also related to social justice. Infrastructure means ease is living, ease in business, opportunities for employment and development. The projects will create new opportunities and will benefit tourism. It will also start yatra of facilities and development,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s hectic tour of four States, including Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan, will conclude on July 8.

Earlier, on July 6, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the venues of programmes and reviewed the preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit on July 7.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected Gita Press and the Gorakhpur railway station, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to participate in various functions.

After inspecting the Gita Press, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the Gorakhpur railway station by the same route through which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive.
