The post-mortem reports of the Sakshi murder case have been making headlines since morning. Sakshi was killed by alleged lover Sahil beside the streets in the Shahbad Dairy area. Sahil stabbed the minor multiple times in the abdomen and bludgeoned her head after she died.

The media reports claimed that the autopsy reports were attacked to the chargesheet presented against the accused before the court on June 6. In this 17-page report, the Delhi police revealed that the 16-year-old Sakshi’s internal organs, including the intestine, were left hanging out of her stomach after being brutally stabbed by the accused.

The report claims that as many as 70 bones of the minor victim were ruptured after the attack. As the accused used a piece of cement to smash her head, the skull was also smashed said the report.

Apart from these, as many as 11 vital organs of the minor were stabbed by the accused who did not stop till sixteen rounds of stabbing. The lungs of the girl were punctured as well as the intestines were lying out of the stomach when he left her over the drain beside the streets of the Shahbad Dairy area.

The report details as quoted by the media says, “A total of 11 wounds were detected on her vital organs and that caused her death. Her left lung was punctured due to stabbing and her intestines were protruding from the body. There was a deep wound below the abdomen,”

Other than the frontal body and the abdomen region the victim sustained severe wounds from her shoulder to the hip region, claimed the report. As soon as Sahil began stabbing ruthlessly many or her organs stopped working.

A team has also been formed under the supervision of Inspector Rajeev Ranjan, who is working swiftly to compile the charge sheet using all the available information, including the CCTV footage of the crime that shows Sahil repeatedly stabbing the girl with a knife. Strict punishment for the accused for the gruesome murder he committed in broad daylight on Sunday (May 28, 2023) is this police team’s main priority.

The knife recovered from the murder site is also sent for testing and the DNA samples will be matched. Investigating further the police also collected eight mobile phones and taken into custody.  It has come to the fore that Sahil was under the influence of alcohol when he committed the brutal murder.

The police sources told the media, “During questioning, Sahil said that he had bought the knife used in the murder about 15 days ago from a weekly market,” which means the murder was preplanned and even if he was under the influence of alcohol, he wanted to kill Sakshi.

Some reports have claimed that Sahil brought the knife from Haridwar when he had recently visited the place with his friends.

Sahil reportedly left the city after the murder and turned off his phone, according to the police. According to the police, after the accused called his father, technical surveillance was instituted on him. After transferring from two buses, he arrived in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, where he was ultimately detained.

After he was recovered from Bulandshahr, his pictures wearing Kalawa were shared widely on the internet.

Reports have claimed that the duo were in an alleged relationship. However, it has come to light that the accused Sahil posed as a Hindu Sunny to trap the minor, and lure her into a relationship with him. Pictures of him wearing Kalawa and Rudraksha chains are going viral on social media.

It has been reproted that ever since the victim found out about his true identity she started distancing herself and this triggered the accused who stabbed and butchered her to death.

Sahil was upset over the victim’s decision to end their relationship. He was angry because the two had stopped talking to each other, which eventually led him to brutally attack and kill her, according to a preliminary probe.

Sahil Sarfaraz confessed to committing the crime in a fit of rage and said that he has no regrets. The police said, “He said he was enraged as the girl had been ignoring him for some time.”
