Gujarat: Mohammad Abdul rapes and impregnates a girl, shares video of the act with victim’s fiance to ruin her wedding

An incident has surfaced in Panchmahal area of Godhra, Gujarat where Mohammad Abdul Mistri allegedly raped a girl for two and a half years, impregnated the victim, shot the video, and shared it with the victim’s fiance, which broke down the victim’s marriage.

Abdul threatened the victim girl not to file a complaint against him; else he will share it on social media. However, the accused shared the video right before the victim’s wedding, leading to its cancellation.
Now, the victim has filed a complaint against the accused, and the police are taking action.

Reportedly, the victim’s father operates a tea stall to support their livelihood, and the victim worked in nearby households to meet expenses. The accused, Mohammad Abdul Mistri, would call the victim on the pretext of household work and allegedly raped her for two and a half years at his house and farm. The accused also shot a video of his act.

The accused, Mohammad Abdul Mistri, allegedly used the video to threaten the victim, claiming that he would release the video if she did not keep quiet about it. Therefore, the victim continued to tolerate the repeated rapes. However, when the victim’s marriage was arranged, the accused shared the recorded photos and videos with the victim’s fiancé, which led to the wedding cancellation.

Meanwhile, the victim’s health deteriorated, and she was taken to the hospital, where they found the victim pregnant. It is pertinent to note that the accused, Mohammad Abdul Mistri, is about the same age as the victim’s father.

The victim’s father said that the victim worked in nearby households for housework. Then, the accused allegedly took advantage of the victim’s loneliness and raped her. He added that he learned about the victim’s video when he went to Vadodara for work. He has also stated that the victim’s sister’s son was also involved in raping the victim.

The victim’s family has lodged a police complaint at the Godhra B-Division police station. The police have registered the case and are investigating the same. The victim’s family has demanded strict punishment for the accused, Mohammad Abdul Mistri.
