Communist Party of India (CPM) and Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) goons tried to disrupt RSS Shakha in Kottakkal, Malappuram District, last night, February 6, 2023. They came to Sanghasthan within the premises of Kottakkal Shiva temple when Shakha was going on peacefully and in the usual RSS discipline. When the miscreants came just before Sakha’s culmination, just before the Sangh Prarthana, Namasthe sada vatsale mathrubhoomi.….

The goons raised provocative slogans like ‘this is a token’, ‘if you do not stop, you will have to face serious consequences’, ‘we will chop your hands and legs and throw to the nearby canal’, etc.

The Organiser correspondent spoke to Jayan Thelapurath, BJP Mandal General Secretary and a senior Swayamsevak in the area, who said that RSS Shakha is being conducted there with the wholehearted permission of temple management under private dewaswom. In other words, no political party or outside agency has any power or right to ask Sangh Swayamsevaks to stop the Shakha. But, significantly, the goons did not dare to do anything else; Sangh Swayamsevaks concluded the Shakha per Sangh’s Acharapadhati. The local Swayamsevaks have resolved to go ahead with the noble Shakha work, come what may.

The incident is the typical CPM method to provoke Nationalist forces, create troubles and physical confrontations, and then cry that secularism is in danger. It is another method of appeasing the Muslim vote bank in a district with a Muslim majority. It will please the outlawed Popular Front of India (PFI) and their political arm SDPI, a grand CPM design!
