Indian star batsman and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant had a close shave on December 30 morning after his car collided with a divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and caught fire.

His car collided with a divider and caught fire near Hammadpur Jhal, near the Narcan boundary of Roorkee near the Delhi-Dehradun highway.

According to doctors, Pant suffered injuries to his forehead, back and leg. After getting the information, SP Dehat Swapna Kishore Singh reached the spot. Dr Sushil Nagar, chairman of Saksham Hospital, said that Pant’s condition is currently stable, and he has been referred to Max Dehradun.

According to eyewitnesses, Pant’s car collided with the railing and caught fire. The fire was brought under control by the locals present there. Simultaneously, Pant, who was severely injured in the accident, was taken to a nearby Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road.

As to a report, Rishabh Pant was alone in the car at the time of the accident; according to Uttarakhand Police Director General Ashok Kumar, he broke the windscreen to get out of the burning car. As a result of the collision, he has head, knee, and shin injuries. He has been transferred to the Max Hospital in Dehradun since his leg may have fractured.
