Kochi: Left agitation in the Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, against the Kerala Governor has made the Sree Sankara statue a captive. Pandal, Banners, decorations and posters are erected, blocking the main entrance and desecrating the Sree Sankaracharya statue installed there. That is the method of agitation pro-left teachers, non-teachers and students opted against the state Governor who is also the Chancellor of the varsities in the state.

And, they got the sanction of the Registrar to do so. The pandal was erected for the agitation in a place where even flags, banners and publicity materials are banned. And, the Registrar was all smiles to permit it. The teachers and non-teachers had recorded their attendance before they closed the office and went for agitation at the main entrance. These people draw the salaries of Rs 20,000 to Rs 2 lakhs per annum.

The Association of Sankaracharya Sanskrit University Teachers General Secretary Sangameswaran gave the application to the registrar on Wednesday, and he (the registrar) gave the permission the same day.

The Hindu organisations have demanded the intervention of the Governor, who is also the Chancellor of the Varsity, to take action against those who covered the Sankaracharya statue with party decorations and desecrated it.

This proves what the LDF is up to oppose Governor. Since Hindutwa is a taboo for the Communists they do like this and non-cultural leader utters a single word against this. Otherwise, these sycophants air their opinions about everything under the sun and moon.
