The falsity of the ‘Delhi Model’ and its international cheerleaders

Kejriwal holding up the NYT at a press conference and quoting the chronic anti-India newspaper proves how much the global left ecosystem is invested in the anti-national forces in the country.

Amidst accusations of humongous corruption, as a part of its routine inquest, the CBI conducted raids at more than 30 locations including Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s residence. This was a major setback for the man who politicised Anna Hazare’s India Against Corruption Movement, Arvind Kejriwal and for the self-proclaimed ‘progressives’ taking refuge in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), quitting the Indian National Congress. In a press conference following the raid, Kejriwal criticised the Central Government for attacking the success of the ‘Delhi Model’ and the popularity of Sisodia.

The Delhi Model schools

The pass rate in schools in Delhi has depreciated from 89% in 2010 to 69.82% in 2018, after Kejriwal’s regime. The fact that no new colleges have been opened after 2015 has been revealed by the RTI. Ironically AAP had promised to open 20 new colleges in its 2015 election manifesto. 52% of the lecturer posts are vacant. The teachers of 12 colleges, functioning directly under the Delhi Government have not received salaries for months. Referring to this matter, Justice Prasad of the Delhi High Court reprimanded the Government. 824 schools are functioning without a principal. Progressive MLA of AAP, Atishi Marlena had tweeted that the officials from Kerala have visited Delhi’s school to study the ‘Delhi Model’ and that this is the proof that Kejriwal is the torchbearer of a new era, which was robustly denied by the Kerala Government.

RTI had further revealed CAG’s report on the expenditure of millions for advertising this whole model was a sham.

The Delhi Model of Kejriwal

The man who laughed at the massacre of Kashmiri Hindus is the new ray of hope for the divisive forces. Do you believe that this is an International Conspiracy? Post-CBI raid, Kejriwal was yawping at the press conference, that the New York Times titled Sisodia as the best education minister and Delhi Model as the finest. Throughout the conference, he quoted the prejudiced newspaper, the New York Times, which always falsely exposes India to World in contempt. Clips of the newspaper were scattered on the AAP’s social media handles. This is one of those newspapers that promote hinduphobic ‘thinkers’ known for their trivial attacks on national harmony.

The NYT

Yes, the same newspaper which had insulted the ISRO by publishing a racist satirical caricature, in which the ISRO was heinously compared to a herdsman begging to open the doors of an imaginary elite space club of Chinese, Europeans and Americans. A newspaper had published a false report of Pakistan’s F16 fighter jets trouncing India’s MiG 21, contradicting Pakistan’s official statement of defeat! In the midst of the Abrogation of Article 370, the NYT had published a biased series of articles penned by the then PM of Pakistan Imran Khan and by the divisive forces of our country. The same NYT had used denigrating words against our soldiers.

Suspicions rise when this newspaper which has dedicated its pages to singling out India and its victory with its half-baked conjecture, selectively eulogizes a Chief Minister. Being a cardinal part of the Constitutional apparatus, instead of condemning such a racist newspaper which has always stood with the divisive forces, what is Kejriwal doing? Whom is he with? Why is he defending his stance by quoting a newspaper which has insulted our proud organisations? Is he doing all these for his trivial political gains? Is this Neo-Progressivism? As a consequence of the adaptation of hinduphobic tenets into the party, the self-proclaimed progressives are resorting to the AAP. It is worth mentioning that the US Department of Justice had revealed the fact of the Chinese Communist Party poured billions of dollars into the newspaper between 2016-2020. After all that has happened, how can we trust the ‘Delhi Model’?

There must be a cyclical change of administration. It is one of the main aspirations of democracy. In the name of constructive change, by sowing the dreams of pseudo-progressiveness, hospitals, schools and infrastructure among the people of the states where the elections are scheduled thereby preventing the cohesive renaissance that our country is witnessing in recent days with the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and erasing the integrity-identity of this land is a new crypt strategy of the defeated divisive forces. We should not fall prey to this.
