Narcotic Jihad in Kerala: Younus befriends Akshaya, lures her into drug trafficking

Once it was started as Jihad, “Holy War” against Kaffirs, personae non grata, who are born with a tag of “sentenced to capital punishment”; reason is simple – “They are not believers”. Then came Love Jihad, novel methodology to upset the apple cart of the Kaffir – “Love, convert and wed a kaffir girl and then push her to the feet of Jihadi terrorists”. Now, the latest addition is Drug Jihad, the modus operandi to induce both girls and boys to the dirty and dangerous realm of drugs – “First make them taste, make them addict, then ultimately convert them to ‘sales representatives’ of the “deadly commodity”.

Latest report from Thodupuzha, a developed town in the hilly Idukki district, says, a young man and girl are taken into custody with Rs 5 lakh worth MDMA (methylenedioxymethamphetamine), dangerous drug with grave impact on the consumer’s health. Reports suggest that both have a wide connect with the drug mafia network within and outside Kerala.

Younus Razak and Akshaya Shaji, natives of Thodupuzha and Kothamangalam, respectively are the young man and woman arrested in connection with this latest case. Both have been maintaining an intimate relation since some time. During that period, Younus made Akshaya a drug addict. Later both rubbed shoulders in drug business. School and college students were their easy preys. Police nabbed them while they were in the midst of lodge-centred drug deal. The woman cried and screamed loudly – “Didn’t I tell you to stop this?” She was obviously referring to her earlier stand to give up this drug business. Police has gathered that both are close companions since the last more than four years. Both families opposed this relation. Girl’s family members raised the issue of the man’s drug trafficking. The matter came before the local police station. Police had only warned both and left them. Akshaya created the impression that she was working in a textile shop for stepping out during the day.

Police has recovered 6.6 gms of MDMA from Younus and Akshaya. Police carried out the raid based on the leads they got. Younus told police that he took Akshaya with her to avoid possible suspicions. Police had got information some time back that Younus was a drug trafficker. So, they were watching their movements keenly. Once they got the stock both were staying in the lodge until it was supposed to be sold out. Police seized the glass tubes used for warming the drug and packing materials from the lodge. It is reported that they used to get the drugs from Bengaluru.

Activists of RSS, BJP and VHP have been warning the government and the people of the state about the unusual methods Jihadis are executing one after another to commit Jihad. Drug Jihad is one among them. But, the main stream  politicians and so-called intellectuals have been laughing at them and alleging majority communalism.  Now, since police has nabbed the culprit and the companion, the apprehensions raised by the nationalist forces have been vindicated. It is an open fact that Jihad terrorists are behind the large scale drug business taking place in the country in general and Kerala in particular. Drug trafficking in Kerala is assuming larger dimensions these days. Simultaneously, reports of terrorist links and movements in Kerala are showing upward trends too. It is high time people and authorities took serious steps and precautions to curb these traitors’ evil designs to axe the existence and integration of the country.
