This year’s sage Narada award has been given to Tenkasi Ganesan and Rockfort Times editor SR Lakshmi Narayanan in a function held at Trichy on 5th August.
Narada awards are constituted in memory of the “first-ever and the most eminent journalist-scholar of the universe, namely Narad Maharishi” to journalists from Print, Electronic, Digital and Social media.
Dakshin Tamil Nadu VSK has organized an award-giving function in TMR mahal near milk dairy farm Trichy on 5th August. RSS Zonal president Krishna Muthuswamy presided over the function. Former Conservator and Librarian of Saraswathi Mahal Library, Thanjavur was the chief guest.
Awards for the current year ie 2022 were given to Dr Tenkasi D Ganesan, author and writer and S R Lakshmi Narayanan, editor and publisher of Rockfort Times. J Rajinikanth , Trichy president of RSS proposed a vote of thanks.
B Prakash, in charge of Public Relations Tamil Nadu, Kerala, RSS in his special address said “a wrong narrative has been in circulation about sage Narada as he was one who creates clashes. He was a Triloga Sanjari ( can travel to three universes) Good things, and thinking are emanating from him. Emulating ideals, Today’s journalists write only the things that are of utmost importance good things for public consumption leaving the bad ones to thrash.
In the function, “Wonder Wonder RSS “(Athisayame , Athisayame RSS), an audio book written by K K Swamy and advocate Kesavan’s Hindu temples and protective equipment were launched.
Joint secretary of RSS Mani, media in-charge Mohan, Trichy Zone secretary Selvam, organizer Aravind, city president Rajinikant, Bharathiya Kisan Sangh former in charge Sriganesan, state convener CS Kumar, cow Seva convener Govindarajan, VSK state convener Ramnath and journalists, social media activists attended the function. Trichy district media in-charge Balaji Prabhu covered the award presentation and book launch event. The media in-charge Ram Rathinam proposed a vote of thanks. The function came to end with the singing of National Anthem.
