ACB will investigate the scam of Rs 1256 crore of PWD in constructing seven temporary hospitals by the Kejriwal government during the Corona period.

Delhi BJP state president Adesh Gupta tweeted, “This hospital scam has happened with the connivance of PWD Minister Satyendra Jain and PWD’s Engineer-in-Chief Sanjeev Rastogi. Rastogi allotted Rs 1256 crore for these hospitals during the last days of his retirement.

The investigation into the scam in the construction of seven temporary hospitals by the Delhi government during the Corona period has now been handed over to the ACB (Anti Corruption Branch). Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has approved the Anti-Corruption Branch to investigate the matter. After the order by the Lieutenant Governor, the Anti-Corruption Branch will investigate the corruption against the then and present Engineer-in-Chiefs of the Public Works Department.

Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered zero tolerance toward corruption and investigation of pending corruption allegations.

Let us tell you, Delhi government minister Satyendar Jain is already in jail for money laundering. After that, the Delhi government has now got another setback. The Public Works Department was accused of corruption in constructing seven temporary hospitals built by the Delhi government in the year 2021 in the name of treating corona patients. BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and MLAs had alleged. The matter is also going on in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court. Now the Lieutenant Governor has directed the ACB to investigate this entire matter.

In the year 2021, during the Corona period, the construction of temporary hospitals in GTB Nagar, Sarita Vihar, Raghubir Nagar, Shalimar Bagh, Kirari, Sultanpuri and Geeta Colony was started by the Public Works Department at the cost of 1256 crores. Earlier, BJP leaders had complained about the scam in constructing these temporary hospitals. The matter is now sub judice in the court.

Earlier, today Organiser reported about the RTI filed by activist Sujit Hindustani which busted the lies and propaganda spread by the AAP Government that projected the state’s healthcare model as top-rated in the country.
