He shared a screenshot of a phone number in a tweet in Hindi and said he has received death threats directed at himself and his family from unknown people.

A large number of Muslims staged a noisy protest in and around Jama Masjid in Delhi on Friday.
But Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid washed off his hands and instead chose to blame AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi for the huge crowd gathering.
“No call was given for protest by the Masjid,” said Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid.
