Madurai:  Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), since its Inception in 1964, has been working towards the consolidation and empowerment of the Hindu society with the guidance of Sannyasis, Sant and Seers.
Margadarshak Mandal is a forum of spiritual leaders who guide the activities of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Marg Darshak Mandal Aravazhi Kattum Aandror Peravai in Tamil has been organizing Sannyasi’s conference in the name of Thuraviar Maanadu with the notion of creating awareness and uniting the Hindu society.

Margadarshak Mandal has organized this conference of such spiritual leaders in Madurai on 4th & 5th June 2022 at Aakash club, Paravai. Initially, the reception committee of Well-wishers of this event was formed with Sri R. Lakshmipati, Co-editor of Dinamalar, as the esteemed President and Sri P.S. Nagendran, Director of Devaki Scans, as its honourable Secretary. Hindu youth in large number took part in the publicity events towards this end. Press briefings and press meets were held on various occasions for this conference.

This conference was started on June 4 with a special Homam performed for the betterment of all, followed by Flag hoisting, Cow Pooja and Paada Pooja of All Saints and Seers. More than 200 Aadheenams, Saints, and spiritual leaders of all traditions participated in this conference. The inaugural function was organized grandly. It was presided by Sri Madurai Aadhenam Guru mahasannidanam Sri la Sri Harihara Desiga Gnanasampanda Paramacharya Swamigal. Srimad Kamalatamananda Swami, President, Sri Ramakrishna Mutt, delivered his Blessings in his speech. Sri. K. Sthanumalayan, National Deputy General Secretary, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, addressed the pious gathering about the need for this mega-conference. Sri Thiruperur Aadenam Sri Santhalinga Marudachala Adigalar briefed the two-day deliberations and presented the resolutions before the esteemed dignitaries. Swami Vedantananda is facilitating this conference session.

The two-day conference discussed resolutions of relevance in today’s context thoroughly. The revered Sannyasis discussed in detail each of the topics. The first resolution addressed the issue of the Temples being mishandled by the Government. It strongly demands that the Government should hand over the Hindu temple management entirely to the organized group of Sannyasis, Hindu organizations and like-minded people. The other resolution was regarding the forced illegal conversions by Christian and Muslim elements. Religious conversion in our society is by itself a national threat. So this Margadarshak Mandal demands a stringent anti-conversion law in Tamilnadu. On this occasion, the Guru and spiritual leaders have given a clarion call for those who have been converted earlier to return to

Dharma of their ancestors and find their natural roots. The following resolution focussed on the Spiritual syllabus in formal education to ensure value in the present generation. It emphasized that all stakeholders come together to make this happen. To save the environment is to keep our future is the topic on which the following draft resolution was presented. It discussed water conservation, cow protection, natural farming and related issues. The other discussion was about ensuring Social Harmony in Hindu society. Only an organized Hindu society will be able to eliminate all social evils. The final resolution condemning the decision of the Pope to confer Sainthood for Deivasahayam Pillai was unanimously passed as all felt the need of it. While the whole story is fabricated, it is a conspiracy to call a convert a Pillai, a Hindu name. It’s deliberately done to encourage conversion, as well as divide Hindu society and through this resolution, the revered forum opposes the decision to confer. The future course of action was also discussed in detail, and it has been agreed that all Hindu sanyasis will travel to villages to ensure a spiritual awakening in Tamilnadu.

As a part of this conference, a public meeting is organized on June 5, 2022 evening. Sanyasis will preside at the meeting and read the resolution passed in the two-day conference. Madurai Aadeenam will address the Hindus to be gathered in large numbers with Sri Perur Adheenam Shanthalinga Marudhachala Adigalar Sri. Sri. Milind, International General Secretary. Sri Pejawar Matathipathi Srimad Presanna Theertha Swamigal, Udupi, Ramajanma Bhoomi Kshetra Trust Member will bless the gathering.
