DMK attempt to stifle the voice of Vaishnavite Seer Sri Sadagopa Ramanuja Jeeyar

Through its minions, the anti-Hindu DMK government want to intimidate the Vaishnavite seer who said two days ago that state ministers will not be able to walk on the road if they act against Hindus.

Sri Sadagopa Ramanuja Jeeyar is a Sri Vaishnava sanyasi and the pontiff of the Mannargudi Chendalakara Shenbaka Mannar Mutt. Seers of Sri Vaishnava Mutts are being called ‘Jeeyar Swamigal’.

In a media briefing at Madurai on the 5th, the Jeeyar said, “the ban on Pattina Pravasam was regrettable. No one had the right to interfere with the Adheenam or temple rituals. Heads of various Mutts would meet CM Stalin and HR and CE Minister P K Sekar Babu, requesting him to allow the event. The event, being practised for centuries, does not require any permission.

It is all about disciples or Sishyas celebrating their Guru”. He said Others were carrying cricket players and politicians during victory celebrations and why they oppose it in Hindu Mutts. DMK, which has zero tolerance for criticism, has reportedly asked its allies to file complaints against Mannargudi jeeyar. In their complaint, advocates M Ilancheran and Amar Singh alleged that the religious sect leader had issued verbal threats to politicians during his media meet at Kalimedu.

They said that the content of the interview would harm the state’s social harmony and sought legal action against him for his alleged ‘hate speech’. “He should be arrested under the Goonda Act for using provocative words. Dravidar Kazhagam members have also made a similar complaint against Jeeyar in Mannargudi town police in Thiruvarur district and Thanjavur West police.

DMK and its allies think freedom of expression, writing and speech are exclusive rights conferred to them under the constitution. DMK government has been arresting adversaries for making criticism and book them under the Goonda act. After arresting politicians, now their plan is to do the same with Hindu mutt heads. It is to silence their voices. It is widely suspected that Abrahamic forces were behind such actions against Hindus and temple demolitions, illegal takeover of mutts, Mandapams etc., purely to hide its all-around failure from the public by diverting their attention to such things and always keep them under defence mode.

BJP Chief Annamalai, Madurai Adheenam, a Muslim have come forward to carry the palanquin. Meanwhile, a total 72 members of 60 families residing in the Dharmapuri Adheenam area, who have been carrying the palanquin during the Pattina Pravesam (entering the city), an annual ritual for centuries, said that they were doing this as a service to the disciples of the Lord and there was no violation of human dignity in it. “Adheenam has been doing everything for our livelihood. I completed my UG at the college run by the mutt”, one of the youths said in a video statement. They said it was their right to bear the palanquin and that no one could interfere in it and appealed to the state government to lift the ban.
