Muslims across the globe observe fast in the holy month of Ramadan, and the month is believed to bring peace in the world.

Rather than carrying out activities that will bring peace globally, Islamists have indulged in massive stone-pelting and rioting.

Riots broke out in multiple cities of Sweden when Islamists indulged in massive arson and stone-pelting. The rioters also burned many private and police vehicles.

Islamists went on a rampage after an anti-immigration party announced that it would burn copies of the Quran. The chief of the anti-immigration party, Rasmus Paludan, had announced on April 14 to burn a copy of the Quran in the Muslim-dominated neighbourhood of Linkoping. A large mob of Muslims had gathered to protest against the act of ‘blasphemy’, Stram Kurs chief went ahead and burnt the book.

Condemning the act of violence, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson said, “I strongly condemn the violence that is now being directed at the police and the general public in Örebro. Yesterday and during the night we saw similar scenes in Linköping and in Norrköping. Several police officers have been injured while working in their service to defend democratic rights.”

Commenting on the massive violence by Islamists, independent researcher Hugo Kaaman said, “The fact that this is allowed to happen is a severe indictment of the Swedish police leadership’s failure to assert the rule of law.”

On Sunday (April 17), Israeli tourist buses came under heavy stone-pelting by Palestinian rioters. Criticising the attack on Israeli tourist buses, Israeli commentator Hananya Naftali said, “A public bus in the old city of Jerusalem is being stoned by Palestinian rioters. The international community is silent when Israel is under attack, but the entire world wakes up when Israel defends itself. What would you do to deal with them?”

On April 15, Palestinian rioters occupied the Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem and pelted stones on Jewish devotees. The site is considered holy to both Muslims and Jews. The prayer could start only after the Israeli forces stormed the mosque and freed it from rioters. There was a heavy pile of stone in the mosque.

Columnist Vikas Saraswat said that the stone-pelters the world over are not misguided youths; on the contrary, they are performing their religious obligation. In a social media post, he said, “Stone pelting is a global phenomenon. Muslim masses are doing all of this as their religious obligation. The journalists supporting them aren’t unaware of the facts or misguided in any way. They too are pens for hire. They are willingly aiding the fanatic mobs.”

In the last one week alone, multiple Hindu religious processions have come under heavy stone-pelting by the Muslim mobs. In the latest stone-pelting incident, Hanuman Jayanti Shobha Yatra was attacked in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri by an Islamist mob on Saturday (April 16).
