New Delhi: Amul’s satirical advertisements are always trend setters. The dairy brand has again come up with yet another witty topical advertisement. This time, Amul has commented on billionaire Elon Musk’s attempts at owning Twitter.

Musk, CEO of Tesla and the founder of SpaceX, has lately expressed his desire to buy the micro blogging powerful social media platform. Musk has reportedly offered to buy Twitter for $43 billion.

Apparently as the media reports suggest, Twitter is resisting Musk’s attempts to take over the company, though the billionaire owns a 9.2 per cent passive stake in the company.

Musk is in effect the largest individual shareholder of the social media giant.

Pretoria, South Africa born Elon Musk defended his offer to purchase Twitter saying that he sees the acquisition as nothing less than a turning point for civilization.

“This is not a way to make money,” Musk said.

“My strong intuitive sense is that having a public platform that is maximally trusted and broadly inclusive is extremely important to the future of civilization,” he added.
