Panchjanya Editor Hitesh Shankar’s Father Passes Away

Shri Uday Shankar Saraswat, father of Panchjanya Editor Hitesh Shankar, breathed his last recently, in Delhi. 

Son of late Shri Ram Narayan Sharma, he was 72-year old. He was a retired principal who had dedicated his life for the welfare of inmates of orphanages, those suffering from leprosy as well as economically weaker families. 

Being a teacher, he was a firm believer in the public education system of the country. That is why he taught all his sons and daughters and grandchildren in Government schools.

His native place was Rasoolpur in Hapur.  

He was born in Delhi’s Chawri Bazaar. His wife  Shrimati Santosh Saraswat is a homeopathy physician who dedicated her four decade -long valuable services to a charitable dispensary.

Apart from son Hitesh Shankar, the departed soul is  survived by younger brother Ramashankar Saraswat, elder son Shri Umesh Shanker, daughters-in-law Shreya Saraswat and Monika Sharma, daughter Manibala as well as grandgrandson Abhyuday Shankar, granddaughter Vidushi Saraswat and Nitya and grandson Vinayak Manan Saraswat.
