The election bugle has sounded in five states, including Uttar Pradesh. The eyes of the whole country are especially on the Uttar Pradesh elections, which will be held in 7 phases, and the results will be out on March 10. Talking about the 2017 assembly elections, BJP got 312 seats. While the Samajwadi Party was reduced to just 47 seats, BSP and Congress got only 19 and 7 seats, respectively.

In the last assembly elections, BJP had an alliance with Apna Dal (S) and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, which got 9 seats and got 4 seats, respectively.
