311g of MDMA worth Rs three crore has been confiscated from a drug –peddler named Muhammad Harris in Malappuram district in Kerala. The police had received an information about drugs including MDMA were transported to Kerala from Goa and Bengaluru. Muhammad is an important part of the region’s drug racket.
These drug peddlers purchase Drugs from Bengaluru at lower rate and sell in Kerala at a price between Rs 5000-10,000. Since drug addicts are willing to pay any amount of money for drugs, the racket has been making huge profit.
The police have been monitoring smaller drug peddlers and got the information about Muhammad coming to Malappuram on a car. They have also received vital inputs about other drug peddlers and regular customers.
