Kanhaiya Kumar, alias ‘Indian Che Guevara’, will be joining the Congress Party this evening (September 28). Kumar had unsuccessfully contested the Lok Sabha election from the Begusarai constituency against BJP Strongman Giriraj Singh on a CPI ticket. But before leaving, Kanhaiya has embarrassed himself and the communist party. The news is circulating that Kanhaiya Kumar took home the Air Conditioner from his room in the Bihar state office of CPI before joining the Congress.
Kanhaiya became a darling of ‘liberals’ after a controversial event inside JNU where anti-India slogans were raised. He had campaigned for the Left front in the various state assemblies and Lok Sabha elections. Realising that the left parties have little to offer to him, Kanhaiya decided to quit CPI.
Regarding the AC incident, CPI Bihar state secretary Ramnaresh Pandey said that there was nothing wrong since it was the personal property of Kanhaiya.
