In yet another incident that exposes CPM’s arrogance of power, the party goons were seen attacking the Asianet office in Kerala’s Calicut district. Earlier, CPM had called for a Hartal in Kerala, supporting the Bharath Bandh call by ‘Farmer Unions’. The employees of the Asianet broadband office were also manhandled by the CPM goons.
CPM affiliated workers’ union had earlier said that they wouldn’t stop people from working. The Kerala police had also assured safety to those people who were willing to work on the Hartal day.
