Afghan National Abbas Khan, With Fake Aadhaar Card, Arrested in Kerala

Abbas Khan worked at Cochin Shipyard Limited using fake identity documents, and his fake identity documents have the address of Assam on it.

The Kerala police have arrested one Afghan national, Abbas Khan, with fake identity documents. The identity documents and school certificates have the address of Assam on it.

Using the same fake identity documents, he also worked at the Cochin Shipyard Limited. The police have also found that his relatives are here in India, and some of them have also worked at the Cochin Shipyard Limited. 

Khan came to India on a medical visa in 2019, which was valid for only three months. But he did not return after his visa expired. On the contrary, he went to Assam and arranged some fake identity documents, including school certificates. 

The big worry for the police and the security agencies is the fake identity documents used by such people. 

With the Taliban taking over Kabul on August 15, more and more people are trying to escape Afghanistan to escape the brutalities unleashed by the Taliban. 

Turkey, Bangladesh and Qatar have refused to accommodate the refugees from Afghanistan. In fact, Turkey is building a 295-km long wall along its Iran border to stop the influx of refugees from Afghanistan. 

Bangladesh declined the US request to accommodate some Afghan refugees because it was already burdened with Rohingya from Myanmar.
