In a major terrorist attack, a four-year-old child has been killed and six people were injured after a blast took place at the residence of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
"It is being seen that where was grenade hurled from. Police lodged an FIR. One child died, seven people are injured. All of them belong to one family. An investigation is underway," Rajesh Kumar Shavan, DC Rajouri said.
The child was among the seven members of BJP leader Jasbir Singh's family who were injured in the attack on his house in the Khandli area of the district last night.
The Lashkar-e-Taiba's (LeT) terror wing People's Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) has now claimed responsibility for the attack.
