Since the epidemic started in 2019, evidence is getting stronger about the virus emerging from a lab in China

Swadeshi Jagran Manch on Wednesday asked the scientists and world leaders to come together to investigate the origin of the SARS-COV-2 virus which causes Covid-19.

In a statement, it said, “Everyone has the right to know the origin of the virus which has caused havoc to the world and humanity in the last 15 months.”

It added “Swadeshi Jagran Manch calls upon the scientific community in India and the world and global leaders to make concerted efforts to reach at the root of the issue of origin of the virus and fix the responsibility of people or countries involved in creation and spread of virus…”

Raising doubts about the credibility of the World Health Organisation, SJM said the UN body has been under tremendous Chinese pressure since the beginning of the pandemic and has been working hand in glove with China.

On January 14 last year, the WHO said the Chinese authorities had enough evidence to suggest the coronavirus didn’t spread human to human.

It tweeted, “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV0 identified in #Wuhan #China”.”

Now, more and more evidence is emerging that the virus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China.

Since the start of the pandemic, about four million people have succumbed to the virus.

In light of the growing evidence about the lab leak theory, US President Joe Biden ordered his intelligence team to investigate the origin of the virus and submit the report in 90 days.

Since the start of the pandemic, Donald Trump has been calling it ‘Chinese Virus’.
