The Centre for Policy and Development Studies in association with Organiser Weekly has organised a discussion on ‘Israel under attack by Radical Islamic Terror Organisations’ on 22nd May 2021 at 7:30 PM. Colonel (Ret.) Eli Bar-On, the CEO of Lakuruma, an Israeli Startup Company will be the speaker for the event.
About the Speaker:
Colonel (Ret.) Eli Bar-On is the Chief Executive Officer of Lakuruma, an Israeli start-up company with a vision of being a world leader in wireless optical communications for moving objects. He is also a senior legal analyst at The MirYam Institute (Www.MirYamInstitute.Org). Colonel Bar-On has recently concluded a 25 year career in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). His last position was an instructor at the Israel National Defense College. There he was tasked with mentoring the studies of senior officials from within Israel and the international community, with a particular focus on matters of national security, strategy, international relations and more.
Bar-On oversaw and led elite-level delegations to official visits in the US, China, Russia and numerous member states of the EU & NATO, participating in extensive dialogues relevant to the national security of all parties present. Prior to that position, Bar-On served for more than 20 years as a military lawyer at the Military Advocate General’s Corps of the IDF. His last position there was Deputy Military Advocate General (2012 to 2015), where he was in command of approximately 1,000 lawyers and legal experts.
