In a video clip which has gone viral, senior Congress leader and former union minister Kamal Nath could be heard saying “this is the time to set fire” everywhere in context of the farmers’ agitation.

Kamal Nath, who was also the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for about 15 months, was in a virtual meeting with his party workers.

He was discussing how to take on the Modi government at the centre and the Shivraj Singh Chauhan government in the state.

Kamal Nath has a history of fomenting trouble. His role in the anti-Sikh riots of 1984 is well documented.

Before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, he was caught on camera discussing with his party workers how to create communal tension between Hindus and Muslims.

Another video of him has gone viral in which he is discussing how ‘Indian variant’ of Covid-19 was bringing bad name to the country although the WHO has clarified that there is no such thing as ‘Indian variant’.
