The West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee continued with her tirade against the centre Friday.

In a campaign rally Friday she said she would have attended the PM-CM meet had she been invited.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a virtual meeting with Chief Ministers/administrators of states/union territories which are witnessing a hike in Covid-19 cases.

Banerjee did not explain why she had skipped all the earlier meetings called by the prime minister in the recent past to review the Covid-19 situation in the country.

Not only she had skipped all the meetings called by the prime minister, she had not chaired any meeting in the last few months in the state to take stock of the situation.

She also alleged in a rally that the Union government was diverting the Oxygen cylinders meant for West Bengal to Uttar Pradesh.

Again, other than rhetoric, she didn’t offer any proof of it.

She also continued with her political rallies while attacking the prime minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party for continuing rallies despite the second wave of Covid-19 in the country.

Not only this, she also incited the people in West Bengal to physically harm the central security forces who have been deployed by the Election Commission to ensure free and fair polls.

Days later, her cabinet minister Firhad Hakim was seen abusing the central security forces and the BJP workers.
