Karnataka Government to Build Guest House in Ayodhya for Ram Bhakts

The Karnataka government led by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa allocated a budget for the construction of a guest house in Ayodhya for Ram Bhakts.

Yediyurappa presented the state budget on Monday. A sum of INR 10 crore has been earmarked for the guest house.
The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, reciprocated by assuring the Karnataka government of arranging a five-acre plot in Ayodhya for the purpose.

The step was taken keeping in mind the comfort of the pilgrims from Karnataka.

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has started the work of construction of a grand Ram temple in the ancient town of Ayodhya.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had performed the Bhoomi Poojan on August 5 last year.

Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, has recently announced the trust has collected more than INR 2500 crore for the construction of the grand temple.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad had run a nation-wide campaign of 45 days to collect the funds.
