The world is suffering for more than 2000 years now and only Sanatan Dharma can heal it, said RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Ji Bhagwat in a book release function in Hyderabad Thursday.

The world needs a country that can save it from poison like Shiva did and that country is Bharat, he added.
He also emphasised the need for Akhand Bharat today. “The parts which got separated from Bharat are suffering. Look at Afghanistan and Pakistan today…they need Bharat more than Bharat needs them”, he said.

What is Akhand Bharat? Sarsanghchalak ji specifically mentioned that the concept of Akhand Bharat has nothing to do with power or imperialism. It is just like adding a part of a body with the heart. And in this case, the heart is the years-old cultural, spiritual and civilisational heritage of Bharat.

Explaining how the vastness of Bharat’s cultural, spiritual and civilisational heritage helps in the assimilation of different thoughts and ideas, he said we already had more than 33 crore Gods, more than 3000 languages and dialects, so the addition of a few more will not harm it in any way.

Bharat has suffered countless attacks by foreigners in the last 1000 years but it not only survived but also emerged stronger.

Bhagwat ji released the book Viswabharatam, written by Dr. Madugula Nagaphani Sarma.

Knowledge without humility is dangerous as it makes a person arrogant. Elaborating it, Sarsanghchalak ji said both Ram and Ravan were knowledgeable but we call Sri Ram a God while Ravan is remembered as a demon. The reason for this is humility and Bhakti.
