Mahaajanah?II: How scribes recognise and describe them: ?Chunk? and Nation

As a spiritual culture, we realise that we are inseparably connected to all (and one) eternally. This leaves no space for the possibility of hatred and envy in our minds (Only a fool can be envious and hateful in such a case). As the expansion of self happens the whole existence appears one's mirror image, there is no 'other'. Mired in ignorance, we are the 'other' for ourselves, once the darkness of ignorance is dispelled then real self (Mahajanah) shines forth brilliantly

As a spiritual culture, we realise that we are inseparably connected to all (and one) eternally. This leaves no space for the possibility of hatred and envy in our minds (Only a fool can be envious and hateful in such a case). As the expansion of self happens the whole existence appears one’s mirror image, there is no ‘other’. Mired in ignorance, we are the ‘other’ for ourselves, once the darkness of ignorance is dispelled then real self (Mahajanah) shines forth brilliantly

Though steps taken by the present government to nurse and nourish the sense of oneness in the nation are commendable and in desired direction and spirit yet, the kind of subjugated mindset that Indic- eye (Sanaatani-Drishti) see in ‘educated and decision implementing chunk’ of our nation across professions evokes concern as this ‘chunk’ has yet to transcend colonial impression altogether. It’s a sign of inferiority, incompleteness and indignity.

Sage Patanjali to Shankaracharya to Swami Vivekananda to present-day Mahaajanah (sensible people) all reiterate, acknowledge and assert that unless the mind is free from all impressions none can see/experience real bliss which is inbuilt in the human frame. None can escape experiencing the bliss of truthful consciousness (sat-chit-Anand) when one’s mind is free from impressions.

Ironically, this sense of inferiority or subjugation comes to the fore cocooned and enwrapped in the garb of superiority. And, this is the root cause, as it confuses people and breaks their self-confidence. So, even if their heart longs for freedom from it, the weakened mind doesn’t sustain the heart’s longing.

Moreover, English with research and employment has made the lingering language issue much more complicated in our country. For example, it is not considered necessary to publish every research paper in every Indian language. That shows we don’t value and carry along with our languages and users of our languages and contemporary knowledge. How will we be not lagging? It is still considered kosher if you publish your research paper irrespective of your discipline/subject in English and no other Indian language. Had we been valuing our indigenous languages, we must have made it mandatory to make Indian languages medium for research and higher studies.

The heart doesn’t force anyone to become Ghulam quite the contrary it leaves you free to leave/fly any moment, and this freedom is not time-bound it’s eternal, it is in this ultimate sense that it’s one-sided. Isn’t (finding oneself in) eternal bond of freedom liberation?

If the ‘chunk’ open-heartedly accepts, acknowledges, and asserts reiteratively that propagators (i.e. they themselves) are victims, not perpetrators of this mindset full of inferior impressions then can be ‘cured’ faster. Even self-healing will do the needful. None can set those free who begin to glorify, defend and relish Ghulam mentality.

This lingering weakness (sense of inferiority) makes India and Indians’ task both, doubly difficult in terms of our wider recognition and acceptability as a culture that is worth emulating by whole humanity.

We are the worthy culture emulation because we know the key to all-encompassing peace, inner and outer prosperity and real happiness which is very much needed today.

Look at any ethnicity, civilisation, country or culture, and you will find that there is the poverty of inner peace amid material prosperity. Though their stated goal is the pursuit of happiness vision is not universal. Therefore, tranquillity is missing. We fill this void. We are the oldest lettered culture which saw the world as a family. So old that none can claim to know the original point of our Itihaas (history? Not quite) as it is repetitive in terms of time cycle (yugas). None knows how old our Param-paraa (tradition? Not quite) of upholding divine values in the human frame is.

Therefore our values are universal values which can really ‘save’ the world. It is by living these values that one realises one’s own divine origin and reality that everyone is born pious (Punyaatmaa) and a potential Mahajanah (liberated being).
