CPM hooligans vandalise BJP worker?s house in Thiruvananthapuram, wife and child injured; party workers accuse ex-Mayor Sreekumar

BJP worker, Suresh’s house was vandalised by the goons of CPM in Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) yesterday. In the attack, Suresh’s wife and 11-old-daughter were beaten and threatened to be killed. This incident took place at night in Vallakkadavu. Suresh is an office-bearer of BJP in Chakka. The hooligans also destroyed their two-wheeler.
During the Kerala local body election campaign, BJP workers and CPM leader Sreekumar were indulged in heated arguments. BJP workers have alleged that he has instigated this group of goons to attack Suresh.
After the results were declared for the local body election, BJP workers were attacked in different parts of the state. BJP offices were also vandalised by the CPM’s goons. BJP emerging as the principal opposition party by replacing the Congress has irked the ruling left-coalition.
