Following a complaint filed by Musheerabad Tahsildar K Janaki, the Musheerabad police have booked a case in crime number 377/2020 against Inayat Fathima Khan under section 420,466,468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code. She is accused of making a fake BC-E certificate from Musheerabad to contest Hyderabad civic election. Inayat is the sister-in-law of Congress leader Feroz Khan who was arrested for assaulting scribe.
Inayat Khan contested GHMC election from the Vijay Nagar Colony ward obtained a fraudulent BC-E certificate from the Musheerabad Mandal, but on verification, her application was found in the office. Being a resident of Nampally, there was suspension when she submitted her fake certificate obtained from MUsheerabad. “During the primary level inquiry Aadhar Card details are also found to be false and other credentials were also misrepresented,” said Tahsildar. Further enquiry is going on.
